COLOUR SPOTLIGHT – Benjamin Moore Yarmouth Blue HC-150

Benjamin Moore Yarmouth Blue

Blue is one of my favourite colours.  In it’s clean bright form it’s perfect for opening small spaces into airy rooms.  With a hint of grey, it will creating a quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxing.

Generally, colours out of any company’s historical collection will be softer and more muted than the rest of the deck.  One of my favourite blues is Benjamin Moore Yarmouth Blue HC-150.  It has enough depth not to look washed out and is toned down enough for adult spaces.

Yarmouth Blue will pair beautifully with almost any colour.  Use it with crisp white woodwork/trim for crisp contrast or with a just-off-white like Benjamin Moore Cloud White for a softer look.  In the bedroom, warm up this cool shade by adding a cozy blanket in a creamy shade and fabrics in linen and beige.  In the bathroom, create a clean space by combining Yarmouth Blue with cool marble and stainless fixtures.
